At first, like the top-notch stainless steel cookware, Multi Clad Pro has aluminum core sandwiched by two layers of stainless which runs along from the base and up the sides of each pan, for better heat conductivity. This helps cut-off annoying the problem of different hot spots of cooking surfaces, which advances heat conductivity. Also, this fabulous cookware is made of 18/10 Tri-Ply stainless for higher durability, by Cuisinart manufacturing’s standard. While these top features are primarily found in All-Clad production, Cuisinart offers this in less than two-times cheaper. Comparing to others, this 12-pieces cook set had nearly the same features (and additional pieces) as a 10-pieces All-Clad set, which cost around $700.

This Tri-Ply clad is safe for most stovetops (includes induction and gas burners), as well as oven and broiler with up to 550 degree F heat resistance, it's easy to sear your foods on the stovetop and then take it straight to the oven without having to transfer to another piece of cookware. It's easy to clean for both dishwasher and hand wash. Note that, the main different between the new version, MCP-12N, and the old one, MCP-12, is the handle design which is more stylish and comfortable to hold fitter.

It seems that a better feature to All-Clad is comfortable rims, which makes much easier to pour liquid. The handles are in argument, though. All-around, we really love the feeling of thick quality, sturdy, well-constructed and proper weight in hand, like All-Clad and Calphalon cookware do.

For more reviews, we've found it on many bestseller ranks of various famous retailers in stainless steel category. Most reviewers are pleased from cooking performance and solid production. Some claimed that they have used for more than 5 years and still been in the good conditions. Also, America's Test Kitchen praised this product for good pouring rims and no dripping. Also, Consumer Reports gave it higher ratings than All-Clad.

We've found some comments about discoloration which calls for proper clean. The polish cleaner may be required. There’re few minor issues about stains or food stick and need more pieces.
